Are you a movie lover? What if you could watch one of your favorite movies, every day, for an entire year? While that would be pretty epic, no one really has that kind of time. Artist and designer Ian Simmons decided to do the next best thing: He created “365 Days of Hand Lettered Movie Quotes.” Every day for an entire year, he will illustrate a quote from a film and share it on his social media pages. The project is pretty compelling – especially since each of his illustrations seems to capture the spirit of the film in question. Simmons explains that he chooses quotes at random, or takes suggestions from his following on social media. He also said that if he hears a quote and it sparks a mental picture, he’ll get to work immediately. Though he is a family man with a day job, Simmons is sticking with the project: He’s only five weeks in, and we can’t wait to see what he does next.
