Life is so much more beautiful when we have friends around. One pufferfish found out what a great friend he has when he got stuck in a fishing net. Rather than swim away, the smaller fish stayed with him even as it appeared he was not going to be able to get out. Luckily, a diver from Core Sea, a marine conservation group gently worked to cut through the ghost net with a broken bottle. Ghost fishing or ghost nets are abandoned fishing gear left in the ocean. These nets cause a danger to marine life as they become entangled and killed by it. The puffer fish did not seem scared or intimidated by the large human. The intelligent creature calmly waited for his pal’s rescue in Chaloklum Bay, Thailand. This is what friendships are made of.
