All wildlife photographers are dedicated to their craft, but it’s true that it takes to set wildlife imagery apart from it’s competition. Some photographers do so by adding effects, trying to locate exotic animals, and heading to unheard of locations. Others like this young photographer find beauty and uniqueness in the most simple and earnest wildlife scenes — and instead of using editing and effects to get the shot, all he does is put himself at the right place at the right time, and wait. His name is Konsta Punkka and he’s a Finland-based photographer who has traveled all around the world snapping intimate portraits of animals, sometimes so close to them that it’s hard to believe they actually stuck around long enough for him to snap the shutter.
