There are certain people you just don’t want to mess with. It’s not just about running into someone who is physically stronger than you; certain individuals are mentally prepared for anything. Some folks are just made to take their opponent down without breaking a sweat. The Groupe d’intervention de la Gendarmerie nationale (GIGN) is an elite special operations unit. The GIGN was established by the French government in response to the Munich Massacre of 11 Israeli athletes taken as hostage and killed during the 1972 Olympic games in West Germany. The organization is made up of 400 members and has been involved in over 1,000 operations and responsible for rescuing over 600 hostages since its inception in 1974. During a regular and seemingly uneventful day at a fast food restaurant, this brave unit put their old motto “To save lives without regard to one’s own,” into action.The thugs fired into the ceiling, ordering everyone to get down on the floor in the city of Besancon in France.

As the criminal aimed his gun to shoot again, one GIGN officer drew a “neutralization shot.”
Officials said the men were known criminals to authorities.
They wanted to avoid any threat and danger to the diners.
The GIGN are not allowed to be photographed so there is no way of knowing what these brave men look like.
