It is very easy to run out of things to do during the winter months. When the mercury drops to frigid temperatures, playing outside is no longer an option. Instead, people have to find creative ways to entertain themselves. Tom Grotting from Minneapolis, finds freezing jeans and placing them in different parts of his neighborhood fun to do. Grotting says the idea came to him when the area was hit with a polar vortex a few years back. His frozen pants prank has turned into a yearly tradition. Other residents are getting in on the joke too, “people have tried it themselves and it’s caught on. All over Northeast Minneapolis, people are freezing their pants. There is no end in sight.”
