[Ty Foster][1] is a successful animal photographer but he wanted to give tribute to the photos often considered ‘throw-aways.’ Foster captured 90 pups in their adorable state of licking and said, “I was laughing out loud at these images because for me, what their expressions were saying and what their tongues were ‘saying’ were complete opposites.” The end result is a funny book appropriately named [Lick][2]. To get his furry friends to pose on cue, the shutterbug had an excellent idea: give the models globs of peanut butter. “It would keep them licking for a whole minute. They would be really be reaching and their eyes would be wide. It was like children trying chocolate for the first time,” says Foster. Here are some of the best images of dogs simply cleaning up.
