It’s official: In a landmark opinion, the Supreme Court has just ruled that states cannot ban same-sex married. The ruling establishes a new civil rights, and it’s a tremendous victory for equality that has been a long time coming. Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote about the ruling, saying: > “No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice and family.
