In a moment of desperation, the man thought he could have an out of his responsibility. What is known is that both were standing in a small separation of a road.
The man sees a bus passing and hesitates. Then he sees a second bus pass and he pushes the woman towards it.
Either that or the woman reacted quickly. What is seen is that she is able to steady herself enough to not fall in front of the bus.
She may have been caught either by the body of the bus or the tire. Luckily, the bus driver stopped as soon as realizing a woman may have gotten hurt.
