When it comes to discussing the possibility of an afterlife, or life after death, people tend to be passionate in their responses. This is because most people speak from their own experiences. This was the case for 13-year-old Harper Kurtz and her mother, Melissa. The Florida natives were on the road when the teen snapped a selfie. She was looking back at the photo a month later and spotted something strange in the background. There appeared to be a young boy sitting behind her. “I think it’s very important to the world to see that picture because I know it’s genuine and real and we were the only two in the car,” Melissa. said. She added that there was an accident on the same road and on that exact date a year earlier. After speaking with a paranormal expert, she was convinced that the ghost was there to remind her daughter to buckle up. Where do you stand when it comes to ghosts? Are you a believer or a skeptic?Harper Kurtz, 13, is shown here snapping a photo. She and her mother were the only ones in the car. They were on their way to a beauty pageant.
While doing research, Harper’s mother, Melissa, learned that there was an accident on this road exactly one year before the picture was taken. She sent the image to a professional organization called the Eidolon Project Canada (EPC) for examination.
Greg Pocha, Director of Parapsychology, Afterlife, and Paranormal Studies, told her, “Ghosts such as the boy are prone to remain earthbound when the soul is literally ripped or thrown from the body in an accident. “And chances are good that he will haunt this part of the highway forever.”
Just a note, the mother has received 13 traffic tickets in the past two years because Harper refused to wear her seatbelt. She believes that the young boy was trying to tell her daughter to buckle up.
Melissa told one source that while she was pregnant with Harper, her brother Timothy and his fiancé died in a car crash. When Harper was born, she was named after the fiancé.
