Dogs are universally known to love being called “good boy.” Why wouldn’t they? It’s a term of endearment and it means that they’ve done something right. It also doesn’t hurt that they’re sometimes rewarded with a treat or prize after being called those magic words. And you can definitely tell when a dog knows and understands those words because he or she will have an immediate reaction. Unfortunately, not all pets have the same happy reaction as dogs when hearing those magic words. The results: hilarious. Check out the before and after photos of each pet as they get called “good boy.”And suddenly have something happen to them that took their “content” to the next level.
And then they hear those magical words that make them completely forget everything prior.
And just sit there, hoping you’ll say it over and over again.
“Who told you to call me that? Forget those words exist. Never call me that ever again.”
“What did you just call me? Try calling me that just one more time, I dare you.”
And then blow their cover almost immediately after they receive reassurance.
And then hear the exact words that ignite the angriest beast out of them.
And then all of a sudden they go 0 to 100 with just one facial expression.
“You call me good boy all the time and every time… it gets me.”
“Are you done? Can I be left alone now? You’re just wasting your time.”
“I HATE THOSE WORDS. IF YOU KEEP THIS UP, YOU BETTER SLEEP WITH AN EYE OPEN.”
And then have their focus completely replaced by curiosity in less than one second.
“I see your lips moving and here a noise coming out of it but… no comprende.”
And then leave you in the dust the moment you say the wrong words.
“Oh baby, you make me feel some type of way. Say that to me again.”
“You are so repulsive. Do you see this face? This is a face of pure disgust.”
And then they hit you with the “lmao just playing.” Because sticking the tongue out makes any situation less serious.
“Awwww, you’re going to make me blush. Can you say it one more time, pretty please?”
“I KNEW YOU STILL LOVED ME. CALL ME GOOD AGAIN, I LOVE IT WHEN THOSE WORDS COME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH.”
And then suddenly one day realize, they deserve better.
