If you have a pup at home that likes to chase off the mailman, then this story is for you. Most dogs don’t really care for unexpected visits from strangers. My dog, for example, likes to chase off the pizza guy. In fact, he’s so afraid of her at this point (keep in mind that she’s just a little Chiweenie), that he doesn’t even get out of the car. He just honks now. This story is about a dog just like mine, but he doesn’t stop at the end of the driveway to catch the big bad stranger.Well, if you haven’t, it’s a really cool thing to witness. A Google car drives around capturing panoramic views for the world to see.
One of the cars was traveling around Kumage, in Japan’s Kagoshima Prefecture, when it was approached by a curious little fella.
He didn’t like what was going on, probably because he didn’t want his picture taken, so he began chasing the car down the road.
He followed that car for quite a long distance. We wonder what he was thinking. Was he trying to protect his home? Or maybe the dog didn’t want some stranger patrolling on his turf.
He was just minding his own business, doing his job, and all of a sudden this dog just won’t leave him alone. Hopefully, he was laughing and didn’t get too upset about being followed.
Most people thought it was the funniest thing they had ever seen, saying things like: “I laughed so hard when I saw how far it chased the car!” and “It looks like it’s saying, ‘What’s this that’s come down my road?’” and “As soon as it sees the odd-looking car, it knows something’s up.”
But once he reached the car, it was like he got embarrassed because he stopped looking so crazy, and started acting like he was just out for a casual stroll.
Fortunately, Google didn’t blur the out his features so he can be easily identified. Soon, his owner will realize that the pooch has gone viral and now he’ll be a part of Google Street View for many years.
