Eminem, born Marshall Bruce Mathers III, has had a tumultuous life. He grew up in the rough part of Detroit where drugs, alcohol, and violence became the perfect inspiration of his famous rap songs. Eminem has depicted the bad boy persona with poetic and misogynist lyrics often aimed at the mother of his only biological child. His relationship with his two-time wife Kim Scott was just as toxic as the drug filled world the two lived in. Nonetheless, the birth of their daughter Hailie on December 25, 1995 has been the rapper’s biggest inspiration, highlighting a softer, gentler side of the man who wrote songs depicting the killing of his ex-wife. But now Hailie is all grown-up and turning out to be a social media darling.When Hailie was born Eminem was only 23 years old, working as a dishwasher at Gilbert’s Lodge restaurant, making $5.50 an hour.
“I think that really kicked me in the a** harder than anything was knowing, how am I going to raise her,” he shared.
Eminem revealed Hailie is the main reason he fears failure.
The hardcore rapper says he talks a lot about his daughter because she is all he has in the world.

During an interview with 60 Minutes seven years ago, Eminem admitted there was no cussing at home.
“I mean, how would I really sound, as a person walking around my house (saying) ‘Bitch, pick this up,’ you know what I mean?” he asked.
He adopted a third daughter named Alaina, whose mother is Kim’s twin sister Dawn. Dawn died of a heroin overdose in 2016.
He was addicted to Vicodin, Valium, Ambien, and Methadone, taking up to 20 pills per day.
“I love them so much and they’ve helped me through so many things,” he told the New York Times.
Hailie graduated with honors from Chippewa Valley High School in Clinton Township, Michigan in 2014.
She is also active on social media. She has over 418,000 followers on Instagram and counting.
In her bio she points out she doesn’t have a Twitter or private account.
While in high school, she not only excelled academically but she was also part of the National Honor Society, Art Club, Key Club, volleyball, and student council.
He dropped out of school by the time he was 17.
Her famous papa watched the crowning from a classroom in the school so as not to take the spotlight away from his daughter.
One parent said the moment Kim was crowned, Eminem opened the classroom door and shouted “that’s my daughter!”
“My mother and father because they have pushed me to be the person I am and have given me all the support to achieve what I have,” she shared.
“I’m a father first, before anything. I’m a father before I’m a rapper,” he told HuffPost Live.
“If there’s important things going on in her life that I need to be there for, then I’ll drop what I’m doing or reschedule around it,” he admitted.
It is not clear what direction she has taken in university.
Kim Scott has had a harder time getting clean and sober.
She said people assume “just because we have money, that it makes us happy.Yeah, I can pay bills. Yeah, I can get my kids whatever they ask for and it’s great to see them happy. But you lose friends, you lose family, you have no one you can trust you can speak to.”
“I sat at the end of a road where I knew that no one else but myself would get hurt,” she said.
Scott broke her wrist, toes, and had a concussion.
“I did not even expect to make it through that, and I told (police) that I tried to do this on purpose,” she admitted.
She was also ordered to attend alcohol and drug counselling. Additionally, she was put on a one-year probation.
“We’re really close friends, we’re just trying to raise our kids together and make it as normal for them as possible,” she said.
She loves to post inspiring quotes, post photos of her dog Lottie, and who many assumed is her boyfriend.
As long as Hailie keeps up her grades up and stays out of trouble like she has for the past 21 years, dad Eminem will probably be ok with it.
