It’s hard to imagine that there are any parts of New York City that are still left undiscovered. But between the Bronx and Riker’s Island, there’s a place that has been forgotten for so long, it seems like it has been lost in time. Luckily, Redditor Victav was able to access the island. The photographer said he kayaked to the island and spent hours exploring. However, his venture was a pretty dangerous one: The island is monitored carefully by police, and people who get caught there are heavily fined.
