We live in a world where everything you could possibly want is easily accessible. You want a large pizza with 40 wings? No problem. Just place an order and in 45 minutes it’s at your house. Don’t want to do your grocery shopping? That’s fine, someone can do that for you, too. Don’t feel like walking your dog? That’s okay, too. There’s plenty of people willing to do that, as well. While this kind of living is pretty convenient, it’s also made humans pretty lazy. So it’s no surprise that there’s an obesity problem sweeping the nation. This father noticed that his health was being affected by his weight, so he did something about it.While taking a hiking trip with his kids, he noticed something about himself. Something that didn’t make him very happy.

At 280lbs, Jeremiah noticed that he wasn’t able to live a life that he could enjoy. He was out of breath and constantly had to take breaks while on their hike.

“Instead of remembering all the good memories we had made on this trip all I can remember is this one thing that kept playing in my head over and over again. I found myself running out of breath and having to take breaks way before my 9, 7, and 6-year-old kids,” said Jeremiah.

Since then, Jeremiah has committed to a healthy lifestyle and the results are phenomenal!

Jeremiah went for a 45-minute hike before and after work and an hour-long weight training session each day without any days off!

Starting with his 14,500 Instagram followers! Jeremiah posts advice for people who might need some motivation to get up and take control of their lives.

Jeremiah lost an incredible 82 pounds! When he was asked how he did it, he said, “The honest to God answer is I did the work!”

“Each day that we are not living to our fullest potential is a waste of the precious time that we are allotted,” said Jeremiah.

He knew that he needed to make life changes for his own health, and he did it. And now, according to Jeremiah, he is able to “run up those same trails without stopping.”
