When you’re new in town, you can do a lot of different things to make friends. You can join clubs, go to happy hours, and find various communities on Facebook to connect with. You can also begin to crochet hats that look like food. Okay, so maybe it’s not the most popular way of meeting new people, but it’s suiting Australian artist Phil Ferguson quite well. When Phil moved to Melbourne, he found himself alone in a brand new city. Instead of sitting around and hoping that he would eventually meet people, Ferguson began crocheted epic hats shaped like food and posting them on his Instagram page.
