Each day of the year, Japanese artist Tanaka Tatsuya uses everyday object to create a miniature masterpiece. He uploads his photos to social media, and they’ve become so popular, he’s decided to turn them into a calendar. Tatsuya uses miniature fruits, veggies, toiletries, and other everyday objects to create his scenes. The images are creative and kitschy, and Tatsuya relies on his creativity to find objects that work well to create his intended scene. “Broccoli and parsley might sometimes look like a forest, or the tree leaves floating on the surface of the water might sometimes look like little boats,” he said in an interview. “I wanted to take this way of thinking and express it through photographs, so I started to put together a MINIATURE CALENDAR.” See some photos from the calendar below.
