Every couple of years we tend to demonize a certain breed of dog as being violent and a danger to society. There are countless of stories in the news of canines attacking children and adults alike. City officials quickly jump to find a solution by suggesting to ban certain breeds in their municipalities. It’s no laughing matter, dogs like pit bulls have attacked and killed people. Nonetheless, it is fair to argue that the human in charge of raising and caring for their dog is really the responsible one if their animal turns out to be a killing machine rather than a family pet. Today, we fear pit bulls but in the past we viewed German Shepherds and Dobermans as the breed to fear. To this day, there is still a level of fear and hesitation that arises when you come across these creatures. One pet owner, however, was moved when he realized his German Shepherd has a friend in the form of a human.

Just want to share something cool! Everyday whether or not we have mail this mail man always stops to see my dog who is only 9 months old. He always gets over looked as a dangerous or unapproachable dog, Maybe cause he’s big i am not sure. He doesn’t bark at them or growl ( Maybe the odd couple times he barks at people but which dog doesn’t ) But this guy here always makes an effort to get off his bike to give him a hug and a pat! I’m not sure who to tag on Facebook for him to see this! But thanks man keep up the good job and you’ve definitely got a friend waiting for ya!!
