You probably did it when you were a kid: Stepping into the bathroom, you turned on your parent’s hair dryer and aimed it directly at your own face. The sensation was both uncomfortable and thrilling. Vancouver-based photographer Mark Szabo captured this sensation on film. What initially began as a run-of-the-mill photo booth session at a charity event turned into something that will blow you away. Attendees at the event thought they were simply getting portraits taken. When the time came to smile for the camera, Szabo blasted a leaf blower – with air going as fast as 240 miles per hour – at their faces, taking a spontaneous snapshot of their reactions. The resulting photos, seen below, are priceless.
