Simon Beck creates art, but it’s unlike any art we’ve seen before. Wearing snowshoes, Beck makes ornate snow murals that look absolutely stunning once viewed from above. His process is elaborate and incredibly detailed, and requires hours of painstaking work in the snow. In fact, Beck estimates that he makes about 5,000 steps per hour, for a total of 40,000 steps for his biggest projects. Once he’s finished, the snow murals are massive works of art that use the snow as a canvas — in fact, Beck might be the only person in the world creating something like this.
