Back in 2009, Robert Connell saved a cat named Hemi after finding him on his engine block while stationed with the Army in North Carolina. Then, Connell was deployed in 2011, leaving Hemi confused: The poor cat ran away, presumably to go look for his owner. After that, Connell and his family assumed that Hemi was lost for good. Then recently, something amazing happened: Hemi popped up at an animal shelter in North Carolina. Unfortunately, the Connell family had since moved to North Dakota.
