Dogs have the power to brighten up our day, no matter what we are going through. No one can tell you that better than 16-year-old Anthony Lyons of Arizona, who was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia last year. During his chemotherapy treatments, dogs would stop by and visit Anthony to cheer him up. “Like I can be in here having a really bad day and then one of the dogs will show up and it will be the highlight of the day.” – Anthony When the dogs weren’t able to visit Anthony, a family friend came up with a great idea.

Roberta Lucero-Koron set up a Facebook page titled “[Photo Doggies for Anthony][1]” to encourage people to send pictures of their dogs to Anthony. The page has received over half a million dog pictures along with warm wishes. Anthony said he looks at every one of them and it makes him happy.
