When we’re younger, toys are our most valuable possessions. We adore them, hold them close, but we rarely take care of them. Luckily, it seems that common household toys are bringing in quite a bit of money. Some of them go for thousands of dollars, while others can bring in millions. You’ll never believe what toys are going for these days. For example, and original Easy Bake Oven is worth more than a real oven at $4,000! But that’s pennies compared to some other toys out there.

Do you remember Beanie Babies? You know, the things that were on every girl’s shelves? You may be surprised to find out that rare Beanie Babies, like the Princess Diana Bear, can bring in a good amount of money. The most profitable Beanie Baby, however, is the little blue elephant named Peanut. If he’s at your house, he could bring you $5,000! Peanut may be worth a lot in the Beanie Baby world, but it’s just peanuts compared to other toys.

If you have an American Girl Doll at home, you could be looking at a small fortune down the road. The Molly McIntire doll, which was released in 1986, is worth quite a bit. Hot Wheels had no problem driving into the heart of every little boy. Fortunately, these toys are a pretty hot commodity. Certain models, like the 1974 Blue Rodger Dodger and the 1968 Cheetah Base Python, can bring in roughly $8,000 – $10,000! One-of-a-kind 1969 pink rear-loading Volkswagen Beach Bomb sold for an incredible $72,000! But that was a one-time thing. Other toys, that are a bit more attainable, offer quite a bit more money for their owners. True American heroes, for example, can bring in the big bucks.

G.I. Joe command centers can put a lot of extra money in your pocket. If you’re the undeniably proud owner of the Missile Command Center, your luck’s about to change. Barbie really brings in the cash!

The beauty queen of Mattel, Barbie, has more than just a pretty face. She can get you smooth ride to the bank, if you have the original, of course. She came dressed in a lovely zebra print bathing suit, with a pair of heels and cool sunglasses to match. If you happen to own the 1959 original Barbie doll, you could add $23,000 to your bank account. Not even the glamorous Barbie can compete with other toys out there, though.

The Bandai game Stadium Events did so poorly, that it was pulled off of the shelves soon after its release in 1986. But that’s what makes it desirable. Because it’s so rare, the NES game cartridge is now worth $41,000! But that’s for the mint, still in the box game, of course. The box, without the cartridge, goes for an incredible $10,000. Put an extra zero on there and you’re looking at the cost of the next toy!

You could literally choose Pikachu! The Japanese-Version of the Pikachu illustration card, to be exact. One of these collectible cards sold for an amazing $100,000 in 1998! Pogs were a hot commodity back in the day. They’re collectible coins made out of cardboard. It may not sound like much, but if you have complete sets, you could make a nice amount of money. The complete Marilyn Monroe set, for example, can bring in $1,000! If you don’t find that impressive, imagine having the Jurassic Park full set. You’d be set for life with the $1 million the set could bring you. But there are still two toys that have the beat.

If you’ve kept your old baseball cards, you could be looking at a lot of money. One particular player could buy you your own field. Released between 1909 and 1911, the Honus Wagner Sweet Caporal card could set you up nicely. Less than 200 were printed, which means your rare card could get you $2.8 million, but that’s still not the most expensive collectible toy. Check out the most expensive collectible there is!

Check it out folks. The most valuable toy out there isn’t even a toy at all. The 1938 original Action Comics No. 1 is the most valuable comic book out there.
