Dogs are absolutely incredible creatures. Whether you’re a dog lover, or not, the facts can’t be denied. Not only do they make amazing companions, most dogs have some very special skills. Dogs can be trained to do a large number of things. They can learn to be the eyes for someone who can’t see. They can help someone in a tremendous way who’s experiencing an anxiety attack. Some dogs are even trained to rescue people in emergency situations. Louis is a very special dog that didn’t need any kind of training to show off his skills. He knew he was needed, and rushed to the aid of a friend.In his younger days, it would be no surprise for Louis to disappear for several hours and come home unscathed.
Louis appeared to have been gone all day, leaving his owner quite concerned about his well-being.
Around his neck was a note! Apparently, Louis had rushed off to save a friend in danger. The note was from their neighbor, Rob.
But what he did find, was a distressed Louis.
Louis led him straight to a woodpile where Maddy had gotten stuck.
Louis perked right up when he saw that his friend was safe. He truly is a hero!
