It’s not clear whether Alex Ugalnikov is a morning person since he gets up at sunrise to capture magical and dreamlike images. Through his photos, one can almost feel the crisp and cold air in the stunning city of Minsk, Belarus. Ugalnikov came into photography by chance when he purchased a camera for a fishing trip. The shutterbug reveals he spent more time taking photos than sitting in a boat. Nature is his subject and his city is the ideal location to perfect his craft. Ugalnikov admits he is willing to lose sleep, getting up as early as 4:00 AM to get the desired shot.
