They Climbed The World’s Highest Crane, But By 1:59 You’ll Want To Look Away. August 22, 2018

When it comes to vacationing, and even thrill-seeking, there’s a lot a couple can do together. Tandem sky-diving, risky rock climbing, jungle trekking, and even a zipline or two: These all seem pretty par for the course. However, what this couple did together is beyond anything you’d probably plan with your significant other, and in fact, we wouldn’t recommend that you did. That’s right: Angela Nikolau and her boyfriend Ivan Beerkus climbed 2,000 feet upwards on a rickety crane overlooking Tianjin, China, just to say that they did. How’s that for a couples trip? They were sent by [Travel Ticker][1] to the location because it’s the tallest construction site in the world, the Goldin Finance 117 building. Somehow, they managed to climb to the top without getting caught, fined, or arrested, so only one question remains: Did the risk of plummeting to their untimely deaths bring these two closer together?
