Nine-year-old James Isaac has had a rough time during his short life. He’s autistic, and has also been prone to violent seizures that are difficult to treat. Recently, James had to head to the hospital for yet another MRI to try and diagnose his illness, and like any other nine-year-old, he was afraid. Luckily, he had his dog Mahe with him the whole time. Mahe is a black labrador that was brought into James’ family to act as his service dog. Mahe’s job is to keep James feeling safe and calm — even when he’s going through medical treatment. Luckily, his family snapped some photos of Mahe’s hospital time with James, and the images are so sweet they might bring a tear to your eye.
