Family Comes Home To Find Blood-Splattered Walls After Their Dog Attacked Intruder While They Were Away. August 15, 2019

When you leave your home, you expect to return with everything as you left it. When Tristan Murrin and his mother opened their front door, they knew something was a bit off when their dog Oden began acting strangely when Tristan greeted him. When they spotted blood on the floor, they knew something had happened while they were away. What they were not expecting was a gruesome scene from a horror movie. Luckily, Oden was there to save the day! This story might just be the motivation you need to go out and adopt your very own home protector.Usually, when they return home Tristan’s German shepherd, Oden, is right there to greet them. This time it was different.

Tristan knew something wasn’t right with his dog, so he began to investigate. That’s when he spotted the blood on the floor.

“We looked upstairs and you could see trails of blood coming from upstairs, going all the way down,” said Tristan. The scene he walked into left him in shock.

It was all over the walls and floor. Tristan and his mother knew that there had been an intruder in their home.

Oden knew something wasn’t okay. He knew that the intruder should not have been there.

Oden wasn’t just letting the intruder get away with breaking into his home. He attacked the intruder, leaving blood all over the place.

Fortunately, nothing was taken from the home, but the injured intruder did escape.

But they came up with nothing. There have been no leads and no arrests.

He hopes that by sharing Oden’s story that someone might come forward and lead them to the perpetrator. After more than 16 million views on Facebook, it just might work!

“He knew that someone was not supposed to be in my house and no one was home and he knows that [the intruder] wasn’t supposed to be in there and was doing something that he wasn’t supposed to be doing,” said Tristan.

Many people consider this breed of dog to be quite aggressive. Oden isn’t like that, at all.

“He plays with the kids, the cul-de-sac knows him. The community loves him, the kids come up to him and want to touch him and play with him,” boasted Tristan.

Oden protected his home, and his belongings, while they weren’t there. Who could ask for a better security system?

“Such an amazing breed that’s why everyone who doesn’t have an actual dog should consider adopting or buying a dog,” he posted on Facebook. So think about adopting a dog from your local animal shelter!

You did a great job protecting your family’s home! You deserve a jar of peanut butter after this!
