Despite the numerous warnings, too many babies and toddlers die every year because they are left in their car seats on hot days. It takes only a few minutes for a child to become overheated and the consequences can be lethal. During the summer months, the temperature inside a car can reach 109° within 15 minutes. [Kars4Kids][1] wanted to see if grownups could endure the heat inside an automobile by issuing a simple challenge: try to stay inside a hot car for 10 minutes, if completed, the adults would walk away with a cool $100.
