Part of what made the mind-blowing movie *Interstellar* so powerful was the epic, soaring soundtrack, which truly set the tone for the entire film. “First Step” by Hans Zimmer was the official theme of the movie, and viewers even complained that this soaring organ music was so loud, it overwhelmed the entire film. In fact, at some points, you couldn’t even hear the dialogue over the music. That being said, the music was supposed to give depth to the emotions of the characters, and bring the viewer into the scene entirely — in other words, it was intended to be a full-blown sensory experience. In this incredible cover, the song gets the full pipe organ treatment by musician Dave Robertshaw. Without the context of the movie, it’s still incredibly powerful. See his performance below.
