Plastic bottles make up approximately 11% of the content of landfills. The [Samarpan Foundation](http://www.samarpanfoundation.org/) in New Delhi has chosen to repurpose these plastic bottles into a useful resource. They constructed a functional living space using 6,000 used PET or polyethelene terephthalate bottles.
