When it comes to furniture and home decor, IKEA can’t often be beat. The prices are reasonable, the designs are slick, and apparently, they can also be repurposed into other awesome things. Take, for example, this incredible IKEA platform bed, created from seven standard IKEA kitchen cabinets. For the price of the shelving (the total cost for this project was about $480), you can create a custom bed with shelving underneath that would cost much more to build. What starts of as kitchen cabinetry quickly becomes the awesome elevated bed of your dreams — you’re not going to believe how easy it actually is.
