Two men Kevin Jorgeson and Tommy Caldwell are about to do something that hasn’t ever been done before. Using only their hands and feet, the two professional climbers will ascent on one of the most challenging cliff routes in the world. They are climbing the Dawn Wall of the infamous El Capitan, a 3,000-foot-tall granite monolith in Yosemite National Park. Hundreds of people climb El Capitan every year, but these two adventurers are taking the most difficult route. Wedging their fingers into tiny crevices, the courageous men are making their way up to the wall. The ropes are only there for safety in case they fall. They chose night time to make the climb because the rock is cooler. The sharp, cold granite cuts their fingers and makes the climb even more difficult. Jorgeson and Caldwell have tents set up to sleep, eat, heal, update their social media statuses, and prepare for the next day’s challenge. You can follow them as they make history on [Facebook][1], [Instagram][2], and [Twitter][3].
