When you leave the house, do you often steal a second or third glance at yourself in the mirror? Or how about when you’re out shopping – does a mirror catch your eye and cause you to commit a few seconds to checking yourself out? As it turns out, the instinct to examine oneself in the mirror isn’t just exclusive to human beings: **Animals love to inspect their visages just as much as we do.** French photographer Xavier Hubert Brierre traveled to Gabon, Africa to set up a large mirror and capture some of the jungle’s wildest animals in a private moment of self-reflection. The result of his project is highly entertaining, and the reaction from the two leopards will have you laughing out loud.
