Koko is a female gorilla, one of the rarest species in the world. Though she can’t speak, Koko can communication: Taught how to use sign language, Koko can express her feelings and opinions with human beings. Recently, Koko was asked about her feelings on the upcoming climate change summit, COP21. In this recording from The Gorilla Foundation, Koko signs her thoughts on the summit after being informed on the issues. She’s not being coached, and her answers are 100% her own.
