For those that have never been, South Korea’s stunning landscapes can come as a huge surprise. It’s a booming industrial country that’s only about the size of Illinois, but it manages to pack in thousands of lush meadows, ancient temples, majestic mountains, and tranquil bodies of water. Seoul-based photographer Jaewoon documents them all. Jaewoon’s landscape shots brilliantly capture South Korea’s rich landscape and colors, down to the very last detail. He is particularly skilled at capturing outdoor scenes as they are reflected in the lakes and rivers, creating a stunning image of two perfectly symmetrical worlds. See Jaewoon’s impressive photos below — it’s hard to believe they’re even real.
