Lions are thought to be terrifying predators. They are massive and majestic creatures, with claws and teeth that are enough to scare any living being to death. With their oh-so-royal walk and ferocious nature, there’s no denying that they are called the kings and queens of the jungle. Despite it being risky, many people get into cages to work with these big cats every day. They have managed to befriend and develop a cordial relationship with these mighty creatures.
Adolfo, who adopted a lioness named Kiara several years ago, falls in the latter category. He was clearly not afraid of interacting with dangerous animals and hence the adoption. Kiara was raised by him and had known him since her rescue. After staying away for a while, the two were reunited, and the lioness had the craziest reaction after she saw her first ever adoptive dad after a long period of separation.
The second he entered, it was clear that the bond between the two hadn’t changed even a bit and was intact even after all this time. She expressed it in the most adorable way possible. Kiara knocked him over with her sheer force and affectionately nibbled on his knees. She grasped his body with her giant paws and refused to let go. The giant cat showered him with love and cuddles, and left him and everyone watching in tears. It was an incredible show of affection.
Kiara might look like someone you’d never want to cross paths with but her display of love revealed how soft and loving this beautiful animal can be. She is definitely strong, fierce and cunning, but there is another side to her. A side she bares only to the ones who love her selflessly.
An organization, which refers to their big cats as “kids” and “babies”, is dedicated to rescuing animals from cruel circumstances and giving them the closest thing to the lives that they deserve. The cats get to safely roam and romp on eight acres of land without harming one another or risking danger.
The touching video posted by The Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation has been viewed nearly 2,000,000 times since it was posted on YouTube. One YouTube user stated, “That made me choke up, so much love that was incredible.” Another added, “So much love! She’s beautiful! She gave him the biggest lioness hug.”
