They might look like something from the set of a fantasy-novel-turned-movie, but these amazing rustic houses are very, very real. They’re made by Dan Pauly, a fourth generation wood artisan working out of his home in Minnesota. Pauly’s great-grandfather came to the United States in the late 1800s, and is responsible for building many of Minnesota’s dramatic old barns, some of which are still standing. Dan is following in his footsteps, but adding some charm and whimsy to his own work. Check out the photos of his amazing cabins below.
