Obviously, store mannequins aren’t true replicas of us humans. Pro Infirmis, an organization for the disabled, completed a project called “Because Who Is Perfect? Get Closer” using mannequins that look like real people who have physical disabilities. This process was recorded, and it captured the delight of the models who got to see their bodies recreated in the form of mannequins. Then in honor of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the mannequins were placed in the store windows in Zurich’s main downtown street. This is such a beautiful thing.
We are all perfectly imperfect and we are all beautiful. For more information visit [Pro Infirmis](http://www.proinfirmis.ch/de/home.html).
