Filmmaker Inigo Westmeier was training in Kung Fu with his son in Germany when he saw one student run up and down a wall. The child, he would later find out, came form the Shaolin Temple Kung Fu Academy in China. The school trains students to become elite martial arts warriors. Westmeier travelled to the Asian country to learn more about this gravity defying practice. The preparation is rigorous, requiring discipline, endurance, and a passion for the craft. The largest Kung Fu school in the country trains around 36,000 students. Many boys and girls prepare hard to become the best Kung Fu fighters and this assures them a better future for themselves and their families. Westmeier shot a behind-the-scenes music video of this visually-stunning sport. It is a rare glimpse into a hidden world. It is also a testament to what the human body and mind can accomplish.
