There are tons of things that can make an 8-year-old girl smile — a new toy, a trip to Disneyland, a puppy for Christmas. But one little girl, Ella, got her smile after completing a random act of kindness. After ordering a hearty plate of steak and potatoes at the restaurant Lallapalooza in Monterey, California, she peered outside the window and noticed a homeless man sitting on a bench. That’s when she asked her father Eddie Scott, ‘Can I just give him some?’ When Scott gave her the go ahead, Ella walked outside and presented the man with her meal. According to an interview with one of the restaurant employees, the man later returned the plate and appeared to be very grateful. Just as any parent would be, her father was proud of his adorable cat-eared little girl (you’ll see what we mean). Fortunately, he was able to film the whole thing, available below.
