It’s not easy for a parents to drop off their kids at a daycare facility. They’re trusting strangers with their kids. Anything can happen and the parent isn’t there to immediately tend to their child if need be. That’s what happened to Tracy Blinov when she wasn’t able to tend immediately to her abused child. Blinov’s 7-month-old daughter was at Busy Hands daycare center when she was bitten 10 times by another 2-year-old toddler. But where was the daycare’s staff when the incident was unfolding?A daycare center in Montana has recently broke news after a child came home with bite marks all over her body. The staff members are currently under fire.

The 7-month-old victim’s name was Eliana. She was at Busy Hands daycare center when a two-year-old child bitten her.

After Tracy Blinov and her husband were called and informed their baby had been bitten, they immediately rushed to the daycare.

But what the parents weren’t prepared for what they were about to witness. They came to the daycare to find their Eliana bitten 10 times all over her body and face.

“My initial reaction was very heartbroken, but I understand kids are sometimes kids,” said Blinov.

“I had no idea the of the severity of it, initially. They made it sound like it was just one bite mark.”

Blinov and her husband asked to watch the surveillance cameras, where they saw the two-year-old biting their child for an entire minute and 29 seconds.

In general, 1 minute and 29 seconds isn’t long, but being attacked for that entire duration can feel like an eternity.

The bites were so severe, that the baby needed antibiotics to help prevent infection. This was happening all while the daycare was claiming that the biter was actually a new child to the establishment.

“This toddler that came in was a new customer and she neglected to tell us that the child was a biter,” said a staff member from the daycare.

The daycare claimed that the new customer had neglected to inform the facility that the 2-year-old child had been kicked out of Little Griz (another daycare) for biting a child.

According to the daycare, had the new customer told them about the 2-year-old’s recent past, they would have never taken her in.

Ever since the incident, a petition has been created to shut down Busy Hands daycare center. Blinov, on the other hand, has yet to make up her mind on whether or not she wants to press charges.

The petition has surfaced online from Change.org with the title “Shut down Busy Hands Drop In daycare so no more children will be hurt!”

The horrific story has been shared on Facebook and has caused dozens of parents to demand that the daycare gets immediately shut down.

“Shut that place down!!! No excuses for poor quality care. Period,” wrote one commenter.

“I’d be livid! There’s no excuse for that. If it were a responsible day care there’s absolutely no way the children would have been left ‘Alone’…. That baby would have cried and I find it impossible that A Day Care Worker Did NOT hear something…. There’s definitely more to this story.”

Missoula Police have confirmed that Busy Hands is currently under investigation and child protective services have become involved.

The owner of the daycare has come into the light and admitted that the employee wasn’t present to watch the kids when the incident happened.

After the employee placed the baby into a bouncer and the toddler into a playpen, she had left to go into the facility’s kitchen.

Although the owner has confirmed the timeline of the attack, he has asserted that the employee broke up the incident as soon as she heard Eliana screaming.

“At that moment she wasn’t… her eyes weren’t on them,” confessed the owner. “But she went right over when she heard the baby cry. I feel like she did her job. She didn’t ignore the cries, she went right over so she did the best that she could.”

Of course, this does raise the question of how far away the kitchen is from the children and how long was she really out of the room.

Blinov has also become concerned about the child-to-adult ratio at Bust Hands and other drop-in daycares like it.

Anyone who needs a daycare in Montana should be careful which one they choose! This incident screams neglect. And if there’s one thing you don’t want from a daycare facility, it’s neglectful daycare employees.
