The relationship of a mother to her child is an unbreakable bond and a job that never stops. From making sure our cubs are loved, fed, and protected, it’s an around-the-clock labour of love. Motherhood transcends into the wildlife. A female elephant was crossing the road with her calf in South Africa at the Kruger National Park, one of the largest wildlife reserves in the country. The smaller elephant appeared intrigued by the tourists and began to walk towards them. When the baby started to wonder off, mama sprang to action in a cool and calm manner. The mom knowing the rule of not approaching strangers made sure her elephant was kept at a safe distance from humans.
