Audrey Shook saw a documentary about Chinese orphanages about 20 years ago. She knew then she wanted to adopt a child from that country. Shook married her high school sweetheart Andrew Shook at 21, they had her own kids, now aged 18, 16, 13, 7, and 5. About a year ago, they began looking at adopting a child when they received an email from an adoption agency. They got a photo from a six-year-old girl named Lucy from [Great Wall China Adoption][1].
