We’ve all seen the memes of the ever so infamous “grumpy cat,” also known as Tardar Sauce. Well sorry Sauce, step aside, there’s a new grumpy cat in town and his name is Garfield. Garfield, previously homeless, was found abandoned in an empty house in Florida during an inspection. Paul Tateosian was inspecting the house with his colleague, when he suddenly heard meowing. The poor guy was all alone with no water or food in sight. Paul attempted to feed the cat a mango he found on the grass but the cat hated it. However to be fair, it’s kind of hard to not assume the cat hates everything. “At the end of it all, owing to the fact that the tenants were out, all their stuff was gone, and the owner has never lived in the house, the inspector decided to take him home,” said Paul. “In Florida, alligators/hawks/eagles/owls/snakes can take these little guys in a flash and he needed a home.” The homeless grumpy cat is no longer homeless as he has found a new loving human to live with. Although it’s not obvious on the outside, we’re sure Garfield secretly has a big heart on the inside.
