When hockey player Jordy Stallard scored a goal for the Hitmen at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Canada, a barrage of teddy bears hit the ice. In fact, the number of teddies tossed set a record: 28,815, more than one per person from the crowd of 19,289 fans. The stuffed animals will go to 50 local children’s charities this Christmas.
