Some folks dream about retiring someday, so they can buy a Winnebago and travel across the country. But one couple decided that they really didn’t want to wait until they were older. Instead, they decided to quit a lucrative job, and head on the road. Now this sounds like a dream come true, and we’d certainly jump at the chance to do what they did. But first, they needed some wheels, and instead of a Winnebago, they opted for something a bit more unusual. Not everyone imagines clawing their way towards a CEO position. Lisa Felepchuk, 33, and her boyfriend, Coleman Molnar, 31, wanted to take their life on the road.

Instead, of allowing her company to fly her to Paris to watch fashion shows, she opted for a new life, which involved sleeping in the back of an old camper van with her boyfriend and her kitty.

Coleman worked as a digital editor for a men’s magazine, but the whole nine-to-five gig just didn’t satisfy him. So, he decided to release his shackles and embrace freedom in this 1983 VW Vanagon Westfalia.

It cost $8,000 just to modify the van so it would be comfy enough for everyone. Admittedly, it can be a little cramped in some areas, but Lisa isn’t really complaining.

With their old jobs behind them, the couple decided that freelance writing was a far better option, and it allowed them to control the amount of work and number of hours they worked.

“Li et Co” was easy to manage so long as they were on the road traveling somewhere where the wI-fi connection was decent. It also allowed them to venture and explore places they’d never been to.

Not only do they get to travel, but they earn as they go. In time, the couple hopes that this form of digital employment will revolutionize the way people earn money while they’re on the road.

After buying their van, they started traveling across Canada. Then, they decided to head down south to America where they drove from Washington State, to Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, before heading back to Ontario.

For now, they’re enjoying life on the road abroad their VW Westfalia, which his small enough to travel through a big city or through a back-country road.

In fact, their home just happens to go on the road with the couple, and they’ve attracted thousands of followers on Instagram, who have turned them into Insta-star travelers!

In order to save on gas, the couple have also brought their bikes along so they can explore some remote areas where their van can’t go.

But if you start brainstorming your dream today, Lisa and Coleman believe that you can turn it into a reality, no matter how long it takes. You just need to have the courage to see it through. Then you can sit back and relax.
