Friendship is a universal language. It transcends age, gender, culture, and for one orangutang, even species. The ape, after watching human handlers look after a litter of tiger cubs, decided to give it a shot. And by the looks of it, he’s a natural. Even the ape’s long arms, traditionally used to swing from tree branches, seem to give him an advantage as he is easily able to grab and cuddle the adorable cubs. He patiently feeds the big cats, plays with them and even makes time for hugs. He is quite possibly giving the tigers’ human handlers a run for their money. This video shows a typical day in the life of the friends, enjoying their time with each other and further building a wonderful friendship.
