You might never think to associate bats with words like “cute,” or “adorable,” or “head-explodingly precious,” but if that’s the case, you probably just haven’t seen this. The [Australian Bat Clinic and Wildlife Trauma Center][1] in Australia just released this video and photos of a tribe of nine baby bats, being nursed to strength and adulthood by workers at the facility. The bats entered the center after losing their mother, and they are simply the sweetest little baby bat burritos you’ll ever lay your eyes upon. Unfortunately this species, the flying fox bat, are under threat in Australia due to decreased habitat and high temperatures. However, one of the biggest threats facing all bat population is lack of human interest – because bats are not a well-liked species, there are not a lot of resources to help them.
