A loyal friendship is a valuable thing. Marimo and Fuku might be an unlikely pair (one is a cat and the other an owl), but they also share a caring and affectionate friendship and won’t let anything stand in their way. Marimo and Fuku live together in a cafe in Osaka, Japan, after being brought together when they were just a few months old. Since then, the pair have been virtually inseparable, delighting patrons with their adorable snuggles and silly antics. Perhaps most surprising is the fact that Marimo doesn’t harness her feline instincts and try to hurt Fuku — somehow, deep down she knows that they’re better off as friends.
