Shelby Bonnie, an investment banker with Allen & Company in San Francisco, discovered that his iPad went missing during a change-over at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Poor man was on his way to the Bahamas for vacation. Bonnie was able to track the iPad’s whereabouts with the Find My iPhone app, which is often used to find lost or stolen Apple devices, and published frequent updates on his Facebook. The iPad journeyed from Miami to Memphis, and the two nearly crossed paths at the same airport, which unfortunately turned into a missed reunion.
